Horace Hutchinson was a successful English amateur golfer, winning back to back Amateur Golf Championships in 1886 and 1887, and notably achieved three top 10 finishes in the Open. Often referred to as “The Father of Golf Instruction”, Hutchinson was a successful Author, penning numerous works on the world of golf and golf instruction. (Brenner, Morgan G. 2009.
