A little wear to the bindings, some light offsetting from the aquatints and a few minor spots here and there; a very good set.
Archibald Robertson was a Scottish-born artist who later emigrated to the United States where he was to become one of the pivotal figures of the art scene, setting up, together with his brother, the Columbian Academy of Painting in New York, running his own art school and managing the American Academy of the Fine Arts (AAFA) in New York.
